My primary responsibility is to proof read and edit speeches, editorials, presentations, etc...so as to facilitate Bryce’s advocacy career. As a co speaker I present with Bryce during PD days and at expos so as to give both a professional and a personal view of my experience of autism. The primary objective of all these endeavours is to support young autistics by supplying them, their families and the professionals they work with the resources they need to realise their potential. We believe that a world that accepts, embraces and includes autism is possible, we just need to work towards this goal.

Working with adult students who have a diagnosed disability so as to improve their confidence, build their self esteem and determine future pathways that they may pursue so as to achieve a fulfilling and productive life. Central to this evolution are travel skills, recreational opportunities and work experience so that the students can live fulfilling lives that have meaning.

Instrumental in this evolution are computer skills with relation to job search activities, with particular emphasis on resume writing, cover letters, addressing key selection criteria and interview skills which also translate to general social skills, an essential factor in any successful human interaction.

Achievements:Gaining employment through their work placements for a number of students in my Certificate I in Work Education class. Assisting students in resume writing and the formatting of cover letters so that they gained employment within their local community.

Key Responsibilities: • Devise interesting, and relevant programs for a group of disability students within the Futures for Young Adults program.• Work as a team member within the Futures program and with other associated agencies.• Seek out and utilise relevant community services and programs for the advancement of the students. Achievements: Establishing an active volunteer program in conjunction with the students and in keeping with the parameters of Certificate I in Transition Education.

Key Responsibilities:• Plan, facilitate and deliver innovative lessons and activities within the Australian Training Framework.• Assess, review and revise classroom curriculum as required.• Actively participate in and contribute to all aspects of the TAFE curriculum structure. Achievements:Integrating harmoniously into the TAF educational environment. Instituting and conducting a successful business project with the Certificate 1 in Work Education students.
