I have recently completed my full-time volunteer role in Cleveland, Ohio, with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC). My primary role was serving as a Youth Advocate at Journey Center for Safety and Healing. I applied my skills in relationship building, problem-solving, and trauma-informed care to support survivors of domestic violence and their children. During my time as a Jesuit Volunteer, I also collaborated with my housemates and fellow volunteers to investigate the root causes of social injustices in Cleveland. I served as the communication and social media representative for the JVC Cleveland house cohort.I graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science and a minor in Disabilities in Society from the University of Florida in May 2022. I have a strong foundation in public health principles and healthcare practices, as well as a keen interest in addressing health disparities and promoting health equity. I am driven by a genuine passion for serving others and a strong motivation to learn and grow. I am equipped with transferable skills and ready to embrace new areas of expertise.
