This research resulted in a new process for printer customization and a savings of over one million dollars over the life of the program. Managed a Monochrome Laser Product Development Team (staff of 10) which focused on development and testing of Lexmark designed paper handling systems for two products in our low end mono laser printer product family. All hardware was delivered on schedule, meeting all functional and cost requirements. Led a task force on jamming issues with a product that was trying to exit our DVT testing in PA. Worked with our fuser manager and product manager to focus attention on the appropriate issues and find solutions and new, robust design concepts quickly. As a result of this work, the product team was able to close all issues and announce on schedule with a quality product for our customer. Mentored and managed several new engineers from our Cebu development facility. Found unique assignments and training methods to encourage their learning as well as to create a mutual respect and friendship with their peer engineers in Lexington. -
