- Provided technical program quality and emergency surge support to the Joint Emergency Operation (JEOP), a $1 billion USAID/BHA funded program with a caseload of over 8 million transitory food insecure people across six regions of Ethiopia (incl. Tigray and Amhara).

-Acted as emergency program manager for the Gaza COVID-19 Emergency Rapid Response, coordinating project activities in procurement, cash and voucher assistance, supply distribution, healthcare facility renovations, cash-for-work, and safeguarding.

-Acted as emergency program manager for Afghanistan BHA/AHF funded project (FY22 ~$4 million), managing 6 direct reports and three field teams (60+ individuals) in the implementation of WASH, cash assistance, protection, and agricultural livelihood activities across Ghor, Bamyan, and Daykundi.

Totonicapán, Guatemala-Developed nutrition intervention study design and protocol, including dietary surveys (FFQ & 24-hour dietary recall), needs assessment, GIS/cartography, and stakeholder database.Kerala, India- Helped design pilot COVID-19 surveillance program, tracking symptoms, food and medicine access, and quarantine adherence with joint secretary in state health department.- Cleaned and analyzed data of 5,000 participants. Pilot program was scaled up to state-wide program reaching 4 million participants. Istanbul, Turkey (remote)-Wrote, edited, and submitted two manuscripts on HERA mHealth app to increase childhood immunization and antenatal care for Syrian refugees in Turkey.Surabaya, Indonesia- Analyzed food consumption (FFQ), income, and associated environmental impact and disease trends using national longitudinal data of 30,000 participants.- Carried out an original dietary recall study measuring preferred diet, food access, nutrition knowledge, and climate change opinions.

-Conducted food insecurity qualitative interviews with smallholder farmers, village chiefs, women groups, university students, and professors and compiled final report informing future research priorities.Full-time field work: June 2018 - August 2018

- Coordinated a team of six high school students from John Swett High School to conduct research on students’ beverage consumption habits and access to drinking water at school, educate the campus on the health benefits of water, and advocate for hydration station installations on campus.- Guided the team to present the project to the Contra Costa School Board, which led to financial support from the district for four hydration station installations in the following year.
