As a nonprofit executive and consultant for early childhood focused nonprofits, I delight in sharing my passion and enthusiasm for the this field with others. My strengths as an MSW and nonprofit leader lie in systems change, organizational and community development, advocacy and public policy endeavors, and relationship-focused practice. It is my great honor to walk with others in discovering our individual and organizational superpowers and charting paths forward in support of the little ones, families, and communities we all serve.Since 2016, I have been privileged to serve as Chief Executive Officer for AIMHiTN. Since my journey began, I've led its transformation from a promising startup to a thriving nonprofit powerhouse that has significantly impacted Tennessee’s infant and early childhood workforce and the families they support.Fostering collaborations, providing reflective mentorship, and building effective partnerships are ways in which I channel my enthusiasm for the infant, early childhood, and nonprofit sectors. My career spans policy work, grassroots advocacy, nonprofit administration, capacity development, as well as community and systems development. Amidst these varied roles, at heart, I remain a preschool teacher, and relationship-focused practice is the common thread that binds all my work together. As for my educational background, I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma and my Master of Social Work from Austin Peay State University through the Middle Tennessee Collaborative MSW Program. Outside of my work, my favorite things are reading, writing, and traveling with my family. Our adventures have taken us to 45 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and a plethora of state and national parks.Leading AIMHiTN's transformative journey, I take immense pride in the exceptional team we've built. Our joint efforts have truly made a significant impact on Tennessee's infant and early childhood mental health. It's an honor to steer this important mission, revel in our collective successes, and continue advancing, united in our commitment to foster bright futures for the children in our communities.
