I am passionate about energy matters and, yet, I am not the 'usual' energy professional. My leadership journey has included senior roles in the public-, private-, academic- and civic-sectors. I've taken on different roles - mother, Oxford scholar, business executive and published author - and worked on climate change, sustainable development, health, generative leadership, strategic foresight...and so much more. My story is that for the last 30 years I have been learning how to enable organisations to realize transformational opportunities. I'm a creative intrapreneur! I am neither a wishful thinking nor a doubting Thomas. I believe responsible leadership avoids fueling fear of the future and that the future is an open story which includes new and exciting possibilities.In my experience, a good leader makes tough decisions and a great leader is a team/community effort which inspires 'whole systems' to create and transform their future.

I created the OECD megatrends analysis framework, produced global archetype scenarios, establish a system of coordinated horizon scanning and founded the OECD Governmental Foresight Community. I also supported individual member governments with strategic risk assessment and visioning - prototyping new methodologies for emerging risk management and integrating conventional policy analysis and strategic foresight to realise progress towards the UN SDG. -
