Mission StatementTo help impoverished children and families in Zimbabwe by creating opportunities for education, health care, child care and community sustainable projects. The ZPS supports sustainable projects by providing start up funding in rural Zimbabwe for projects that have been developed and implemented by the local people to provide the villages with an ongoing income that enables them to send their children to school (pay school fees) and feed their families. Currently there are many of these ZPS projects successfully operating in various rural villages in Zimbabwe. The benefits of these projects are many in that they help to improve the day to day lives of those involved, provide meaningful employment activity for those who would be otherwise unemployed and empower the participants by providing a hand up rather than a hand out.
