Significant experience in the field of Children's Social Care, particularly Safeguarding and working with in need families. I have been an operational front of house manager in Children's Services for 16 out of 27 years as a qualified social worker. I currently work as an IRO and Chair of Child Protection Conferences for a large Northern Local Authority. However I worked as an interim manager for nine years and the contracts I completed involved working as a front of house manager in authorities that were I special measures, CAFCASS and as a Sure Start Programme Manager in inner city Bradford.I remain a passionate advocate of vulnerable children. I am adaptable, focused , able to coach and support staff, but deliver important and appropriate messages when necessary. I am an enabler, both in terms of support staff I manager and working with families. My other strengths are working with diverse communities, and managing diverse workforces.
