Responsible for the manufacture of micro-catheters for the treatment of tumors in the liver in accordance with company procedures, safety regulations and GMPs. Job responsibilities also include supporting Quality with NCR/CAPA investigations/improvements and research/implement changes to Electrostatic Coating Process.

Technical project manager for new products. Work closely with customers, sales, engineers, technicians, outside vendors and manufacturing to develop manufacturing processes for NiTi implant devices. Processes include cutting, shape setting and chemical processing (electropolishing). Responsibilities also included tooling and fixture design to semi-automate processes. Devices include peripheral stents, spine solutions, and surgical closure devices using tube, wire or sheet.Internal projects have included optimization DOEs, root-cause analysis, analyzing quotation and sales data, revising operating procedures for product transfers, and assist in writing training manual for all new hires. Projects have also utilized lean manufacturing techniques and SPC to reduce processing times, and improve yields.

Lead multi-discipline team to develop tight-tolerance stent manufacturing processes from prototype to production. Communicate results and challenges with managers, directors and customers. Support and train manufacturing equipment operators.

Participate significantly in the design process for three peripheral catheters—device development and testing, animal studies, the transfer of products from R&D to Manufacturing, and maintaining manufacturing inventory.
