Lead the execution and operation of the University of Maryland Medical System's comprehensive marketing program to promote the brand of our regional multi-hospital health system, including directing all marketing strategies and overseeing the management and use of all digital marketing technologies, including CRM, marketing automation and data warehouse.

Lead the strategic communications program for the Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center.

Responsible for the success of the Foundation’s national communication and public health education programs, including print and online communication, website development, public education and awareness, media relations, patient information and referral, and conference planning.

Developed and launched annual marketing campaigns to penetrate new target markets nationwide. Participated in corporate strategic planning committee to develop five and ten-year plan for continued corporate growth, innovation and profitability. Created product/market driven presentations and associated collateral for sales “discovery visits” with potential clients.

- Advised clients on the design and production requirements for safe, effective and ADA compliant signage within the public transit industry. - Provided strategic collaboration and technical assistance to sales managers in preparing proposals and next action steps on accounts.- Managed all stages of signage projects, including conceptual design, ADA compliance consultation, product development and production.- Conducted site surveys to evaluate transit station and vehicle signage needs, and provided recommendations for improvement and industry compliance.

In addition being my first real job out of college and teaching me the differences between digital, offset and screen printing, this job opened my eyes to the power of design in effective communication (I mostly focused on writing in college). My experience at Globe inspired me to go grad school and study publication design -- combining words and images for effective communication.
