About Angela Barbour
Ângela Barbour is a visual artist, curator and researcher in contemporary art and digital fabrication. IAPMA Exhibitions Coordinator. CEO of Ellora Ateliê - The Fabricademy Node Brazi. Curator of Bulgaria / Brasil Art Project. Representative of Brazil in the organization of the Fab Conferencies Fab13 / Santiago, Chile and Fab14 / Toulouse, France. Curator Bienal der Sur, Pueblos en Resistencia, Caracas, Venezuela. Curator IAPMA 30years / From Nature To Nature. She was Executive Director of the Porto Seguro Cultural Space, where she concept and implemented the Space conceived and implemented the Experimental Engraving Studio and the PortoFabLab, dedicated to the Arts. PhD in Visual Arts from the Arts Institute of UNICAMP, Master of Arts from the School of Communications and Arts at USP and a bachelor's degree in Plastic Arts from the same school, she also has a degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at USP, having worked as Scientific Researcher at the Butantan Institute, Coordinator of the Plastic Arts Center at ARTIUM studios and Professor at the Belas Artes University Center of São Paulo, where she also held the position of Coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts and Institutional Partnership and Curatorial Advisor at the Unicentro Rectory. She was Manager of the Marta Traba Gallery of Latin American Art at the Memorial Foundation of Latin America, and one of the creators of the Memorial's Open Sky Project, which aims at Attending People with Special Needs, having developed a methodology for the production of tactile images for the visually impaired. . He has experience in the area of Arts and Cultural Production, with an emphasis on Plastic Arts, acting mainly on the following themes: intervention, installation, printmaking, drawing, production of tactile images, university teaching in Arts and executive production of exhibitions.
