I am fortunate enough to have the best of both worlds with my two careers! Both involve helping people with their health and well-being. During the week I am in the high paced, high pressure world of the emergency department. I reconcile patients medications to insure their safety. I provide a critical service to the physicians that I work under. I also function as a trainer for our newly expanded med history program. It’s a wonderful feeling to know you have played a part in the health of someone in a medic emergency. I also work as a licensed esthetician in a beautiful med spa. I truly enjoy providing my clients with an amazing spa experience. Helping people with skin issues from acne, rosacea, and hyperpigmentation all the way to burns from radiation treatments. Sometimes all people need is an hour to relax and rejuvenate themselves. I am very passionate about organ, eye, and tissue donation. I volunteer my time as a OneLegacy Ambassador whenever and wherever I can. Speaking to hospitals and city councils about donation is critical in understanding the importance of it.
