Kaiwhakahaere Te Whaioranga | Manager, Te Whaioranga
In this role, I led and managed a team to ensure they meet their objectives, with a strong focus on Māori health equity, engagement and application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. In addition, I oversaw the work programme to implement Te Whaioranga (Māori responsiveness strategy) across the organisation and provide direction and advice to staff engaged in delivering Te Whaioranga strategy and supporting capability building. Furthermore, I led the provision of advice to inform policy, Māori capability frameworks in line with Te Arawhiti guidelines and reporting to the Board and executive team.My role was focused on engagement, business planning, management, strategy development, coordination and reporting.
