Strategic | Communication | Positivity | Achiever | Woo With over 16 years of experience in planning and design of healthcare environments, I have the pleasure of leading Kirksey’s Healthcare studio in North Texas. My deep understanding of the built environment and focus on human centered design is reflected through my conversational style and thoughtful approach to design solutions that positively impact people and their communities.I have influenced projects through research, implementation of Evidence Based Design and Human Centered Design best practices as well as my expertise in project management, client relations, technical review and consultant coordination. My experiences include but are not limited to, mental and behavioral health, acute care, complex renovations, federal projects, cancer centers, pharmacies, women’s specialty units, and medical office buildings.Professionally, I have served as an advocate across a series of Design Leadership Councils which promote design initiatives and innovation.My passion for local community efforts, sustainability and education has lead to leadership opportunities within IIDA as Director for the Dallas City Center and VP of Communications for the TX OK Chapter Board, Co-founder of ZeroLandfill Dallas and Chairperson on the Advisory Board for Wade College. I am actively engaged in Women in Healthcare and AMFP as well as within my local community.
