Her passions include complex problem solving, novel invention, with a wealth of experience in medical devices, drug delivery, food science, integrated electronics and polymer engineering. She values clear communication, transparency, and collaboration.While her training is specifically in materials chemistry, biochemistry, and biomedical product design, her intuition is user focused and informed by deep knowledge in international regulatory systems. Angie loves working with unique cross-functional roles and has experience as engineering lead and program manager at places like Verily Life Sciences, Google Health, the Langer Lab of MIT, and Down Under Yoga. Her eclectic background and tenacious curiosity brings a fresh perspective to the table, helping her think outside the box and challenge convention to inspire change. Her experiences include working with ISO standards, managing QMS systems, and teams preparing 510k, IDE and EUA applications. Complimentary to her interests in the medical field, Angie is also an entrepreneur in food science with a specific interest in novel formulations. Outside of her technical work, Angie is committed to lifelong learning and developing her personal practice as a 500 hr Registered Yoga and Pilates Fitness Instructor. She regularly teaches Power Vinyasa, organizes custom retreats, and personalized meditation programs. Additionally, Angie enjoys marathon training, traveling, and endurance bicycling to keep her sense of exploration fresh, her grit in check, and her heart happy.
