I am a military spouse pursuing her lifelong dream of being a professional Software Developer. My passion for IT has kept growing since the first time I used a computer. It is amazing that you can stay up to date with current events, share ideas with others, and make new friends using computers, instead of using traditional sources. As I grew up, I've enjoyed writing code. There's just something compelling about mixing creativity with the technical process of problem-solving. With this passion, I taught children coding through a program funded by department of defense. In our Tech Lab I enjoyed showing children how to use a programming language called Scratch to create their own projects, games, or simple scripts such as “Hello World”. I was very pleased to see that they had the same passion for coding. This experience has inspired me to pursue a career in the IT industry. I really enjoy teaching, but at same time my desire to create meaningful software has never strop. It is the time for my next journey. Build up a career in tech industry. Technology inspires and drives the way the world functions. I am desired to be a part of it. I should also add that I'm recently graduated at the Washington Vets to Tech program (known as WaV2T), specializing in the Cloud Application Development track. This program provides 18 college credit hours toward a Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science. Programming languages studied include Linux, JavaScript, Python, HTML5, and ASP.NET. I truly enjoyed my time in the program, and I can't wait to find a company where I can continue to grow, fulfill my lifelong dream, and also call "home".
