I have over 19 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management in the healthcare industry. Employed by OrthoSynetics for 15 years joining the team in 1994. Recevied my first promotion to Supervisor of Batching in 1995, Patient Accounting Manager in 1997 and Director of Patient Financial Services in 2000. My focus is to reduce the accounts receivable days outstanding and provide exceptional customer service to our clients. Since joining OrthoSynetics I have played an instrumental role in spear heading projects designed to improve process efficiencies and cash flow. These projects include automating and streamlining insurance claims and patient statement processing; development and rollout of our proprietary patient financial software package; electronic funds transfer program; integrated credit card processing system; design and implementation of OrthoSynetics’ Revenue Cycle Management division; selected and implemented predictive dialing system; Onsite/Offshore Team development. I currently manage a team of 50 employees, onsite and offshore. My team is responsible for the Revenue Cycle Management of patient and insurance receivables, Payment Processing, Document Operations and the design and testing of OrthoSynetics' proprietory patient financial software package.
