Oversees various phases of health economics research as a project manager such as:• coordinating and carrying out data collection;• conducting academic publication searches; • assisting with data preparation and analysis; • project monitoring and documentation; and • administrative duties associated with project completion and report disseminationManage all phases of health economics and health services research conducted by HERC, including:• Manage several, complex research projects and function domains in collaboration with study economists• Prepares IRB submission applications and grant proposals• Provide center-wide leadership in project management, including initiatives to standardize grant proposal development, IRB and other data approval processes, budget development, data collection instruments, development of study operations manuals and compliance with reporting requirements• Mentor research staff regarding protocols, research methods and regulatory requirements• Create and maintain databases used for research purposes, and ensure that the stored data for research projects comply with all administrative procedures and policies• Author or co-author manuscripts describing research findings, to be published in professional scientific journals, books, guidebooks and technical reports• Present research findings at professional conferences• Provide customer service by resolving customers' questions and issues
