I am a dedicated and multifaceted professional with a diverse background in sales, operations management, and real estate. My journey began with my high school education at Portage High School, where I graduated in 2005. I also attended Wheeler High School from 2001 to 2003. My academic pursuit continued at Ivy Tech Community College, where I earned an Associate's degree in 2009. I then achieved a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration from Purdue University Northwest in 2013.Balancing full-time work and education, I started my career in 2005 with Merry Maids, gaining valuable experience in customer service and time management. From 2006 to 2007, I transitioned into sales at RadioShack, followed by a significant role in telecommunications sales with Direct Cellular Inc., which later became Trielectronics. There, I excelled as a Retail Store and Team Sales Manager until 2012.My career took a new direction as the Operations and Growth Manager of an online vintage goods store, where I honed my digital marketing and business development skills. Concurrently, I was a caretaker for my grandmother, fighting Parkinson's.In 2015, I welcomed my first child and chose to focus on my family. I continued to work remotely, scoring Indiana ISTEP exams and managing household and childcare duties. In 2019, I pursued a new career path, attending real estate school and obtaining my license in January 2020, right before my boys started school full-time.The financial impracticality of re-entering the workforce full-time led me to stay home, allowing me to care for my sons, including one with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Despite the challenges, I continued my professional growth in real estate, even throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and the birth of my third child.In January 2023, I began homeschooling my oldest son while pursuing a master's degree in Public Administration at Claremont Lincoln University. I am currently working on my capstone research on the ethical implications of regional development on small towns and communities, further showcasing my commitment and dedication to my family and community's needs. I joined the Brooke Metz Team in August 2023, where I continue to apply my extensive knowledge and skills in real estate. My journey is a testament to my adaptability, dedication, and continuous pursuit of professional growth while maintaining a strong commitment to my family and the community. I am passionate about creating meaningful change and being a visionary leader.
