I am accountable for developing and maintaining in-person and digital relationships with area constituents and supporters while securing sponsorships and funding for Office on Aging programs. I have the majority responsibility for coordinating office fundraisers, conferences, events, monthly programming of the Knoxville-Knox County Council on Aging, monthly promotional interviews for Community TV, and committee meetings. Since 2016, I have been a part of a development team that has raised over $1,750,000 through fundraisers, donation solicitations, and grants. I am responsible for promoting aging issues and the Office on Aging via media and community relationships. I am responsible for speaking to community and civic groups. I update and maintains all social media accounts (5 Facebook pages, 2 Twitter accounts, 1 Instagram account and 1 LinkedIn page) to promote fundraising events, program updates and issues pertinent to seniors. Since 2016, I have increased the followers of the Office on Aging Facebook by 151%.

As Community Relations Director, I established and maintained professional relationships with all referral sources, including but not limited to the following: hospitals, independent living facilities, assisted living facilities, sub-acute rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, skilled home health care agencies, hospice providers, and physicians/nurse practitioners. It was my responsibility to execute marketing campaigns from Homewatch International, Inc. and offer feedback on their effectiveness. I established and maintained brand awareness through referral source contacts, trade shows, conferences, and community education efforts. Digital marketing included updating and maintaining company website, e-newsletter, and social media pages.

I was accountable for managing physical/occupational/speech therapists in outpatient clinic located in a senior living facility. I developed facility marketing to the community and local physicians to increase referrals. I coordinated and implemented an assisted living wellness programs and group exercise classes for all levels of care.Successes included reducing falls by 30% and residents reported an increased quality of life after receiving services in the outpatient clinic.
