Experienced meticulous mechanical engineer successfully works under pressure. Successfully headed several projects by performing managerial functions such as, planning, scheduling, organizing, and tracking processes; ensuring cost-effective, cutting-edge designs; and budget restrictions that met project and product specifications and on-time deliverables.In my professional experience, I received a Certificate of Appreciation Award on my C-17 structure project. At L-3 Communications I took over the design of a wing tip radome. The Lead Aerospace Engineer loved my new design. I saw the project through to the end which included the tooling design and the installation onto the aircraft. The whole project was a joy. On a secret project after 9/11 I received “A Tribute to Excellence Award”. I received several Achievement Awards throughout my time at L-3. At Safire Aircraft I was the last team leader hired but my group was the first to complete all models and drawings before deadline. At B/E Aerospace I worked on Air Canada 777 seat structures and also completed new electrical drawings ahead of schedule. Boeing loved the design of the 777 seat and electrical system. I assisted Boeing with an issue in a very high priority situation to certify an aircraft to fly in which I received a Pride@Boeing Accomplishment Award.My style is adaptive. In general, I try to keep a fast paced, process focused schedule in order to complete a project and move onto another. Although I try to be efficient and I am a bit of a perfectionist. In my professional experience I have learned to balance resources in order to ensure the final project is error free. I love working within a team, but also capable to work alone when needed. I take my role in any project seriously, so I am always dedicated and driven.
