• Perform engineering work related to the coordination, review, and approval of stormwater design and improvements associated with land development, capital improvement, and public works projects. • Provide engineering review and prepare comments on subdivision plats, plans, drainage reports, construction drawings, agreements, and other related documents relative to stormwater criteria and stormwater issues. • Provide direct assistance to engineering, technical and administrative staff in the completion of project review, preparation of reports, and other analytical tasks. • Coordinate engineering projects between SEMSWA, land use agencies, and applicants to ensure that projects meet stormwater management requirements and satisfies adopted standards and criteria. • Attend pre-application meetings to provide stormwater related information regarding design and construction requirements for proposed projects. • Provide design review and comments to ensure project compliance with MS4 permitting programs. • Make recommendations to the Program Manager for approval of drainage reports and construction plans for related projects. • Coordinate with land-use agency staff on development projects.

• Meet with municipal clients to gather data about existing water system and water conservation programs. Prepare projections of future water needs, improvements and conservation.• Collaborate to prepare state grant applications, schedule & water conservation plan for State of Colorado approval.

• Create & customize training curriculum about water in Colorado & water conservation for high school students. Perform 5 – 8 hours of training annually at each of 5 high schools. • Assist high school students in planning and preparing activities for 3 hours of interaction with fourth grade students. Oversee students teaching water basics & conservation to 2000 fourth graders.

My primary responsibilities were to a small sanitation district in the south metro area including resolving sanitary sewer backups and calls from customers, writing monthly board memos, and performing system loss analysis for other water districts.

• Modeled and analyzed sanitary sewer and water systems using EPANet, H20Net and H20Map Sewer• Prepared construction cost estimates & bid documents, including project specifications, for municipal construction projects in southern Colorado, including improvements to an existing water treatment plant• Reviewed contractor submittals for construction project installing a new 16" water transmission line• Prepared bid documents and reviewed submittals for municipal building projects in southern Colorado • Compiled water conservation research for use in water conservation plans
