Act as revenue manager manipulating rates and online inventory to maximize revenues.

Salisbury, Maryland

Managed rates and inventory for 156 room hotel located in Salisbury, Maryland. Used STAR reports and historical data to monitor trends in occupancy and pricing and manipulated rates accordingly to maximize growth in occupancy and ADR. Opened and closed inventory for local sell rather than pay third parties resulting in lower commission amounts paid. Monitored group inventory and established good group base to build on. Consistently grew revenues month over month, year over year.

Salisbury, Maryland

Directed operations and business functions for the property with 156 rooms and 3300 square feet of meeting and banquet space with over 40 employees. Responsible for implementation and execution of procedures to achieve optimal guest satisfaction, a good working environment for staff, growth of revenues for both hotel room and food & beverage operations, coordinate with department heads with regards to scheduling and special projects, recruitment of new staff, staff training and performance reviews, weekly payroll, budgeting, purchasing and forecasting revenues.

Sales leadership and training for 50+ AVON representatives. Provided training and support to my team through individual meetings, group training sessions, webinars and conference calls.

Duties of this position include accounting, client liaison, assist in developing new reservation software, manage web development projects, design ads and email newsletters, prepare site statistics, revenue projections, place ads on the websites as well as sales of advertising to new clients.

Ocean City, Maryland

Lead, direct and manage all hotel operations for three resort hotels. Duties of this position include but not limited to hotel budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, ensuring franchise requirements are met, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, leading and developing the team, responding to guest inquiries and resolving concerns, supply orders, hiring and training. I achieved this position starting at the front desk and working my way to General Manager.
