I am a senior business and marketing consultant with more than 30 years’ experience spanning a wide range of business sectors. Marketing On Tap (https://marketingontap.co.uk) is my consultancy business which offers a range of flexible marketing services to businesses to plug the skills gap which is now all too common.I have particular experience in financial services, B2B, SaaS and technology, and have worked for a number of both large and small companies including Barclays Bank, Northern Rock, Bradford & Bingley, General Accident, DP World (CNS), and my own tech start-up.In 2021 my partner and I launched Keep Fit Eat Fit - an innovative concept in employee wellbeing for both remote workers and office-based employees. It was a complete digital wellbeing platform spanning 7 separate topics contained within a membership portal, with an HR dashboard for onboarding, management and user analytics.Before this I spent more than 30 years working at a senior level in both agency and client side marketing roles inside corporate environments and as a freelance consultant in London and my native Yorkshire. I have advised many companies on all aspects of strategic and operational marketing activity, both digital and offline. From blue chips to SMEs I have tailored my approach accordingly, working as part of a team and also independently, whilst always maintaining accountability. I have a strong entrepreneurial instinct, capacity for lateral thinking, and enjoy identifying and developing new business opportunities. I have also pursued a number of independent, stand-alone projects and built up knowledge of international trade and commerce.After more than 3 decades in the business of marketing, I believe it is necessary to be constantly learning and embracing new skills in an ever changing digital world.
