I began my career in Human Resources as an HR Specialist in St. Paul, Minnesota. It was a fascinating role, helping the company manage its workforce and ensure that everything ran smoothly on the HR front. I learned a lot during those early years, and it set the stage for what was to come.In 2007, I decided to make a big move and headed down to Texas. It was a significant change in both my professional and personal life. I had accepted a position with a Debt Settlement company, a job that demanded heavy sales and recruiting efforts. It was a challenging but rewarding experience, and I honed my skills in sales and recruitment during my time there. I'm proud to say that I consistently ranked as the top recruiter in the company during my tenure.But in 2011, I felt the pull to return to my roots in Minnesota. This time, I decided to specialize in recruiting. I joined Ameriprise Financial Services and focused heavily on Sales Recruiting, particularly for Field Advisors and positions within the in-house Advisor Center. I also worked on recruiting talent for Finance, IT, and various corporate roles. At Ameriprise, I continued my streak of being the top recruiter, consistently surpassing recruitment targets and setting a high standard for my team.During my tenure at Ameriprise, I had the unique opportunity to relocate to Las Vegas for a short period. The company was expanding, and I was part of the team responsible for setting up their second corporate site. It was an exciting adventure, and I cherished the experience of contributing to Ameriprise's growth while maintaining my status as the top recruiter.In 2013, I decided to head back to Texas once again. This time, I focused on recruiting Life and Annuity Insurance Agents and Agency Owners. It was a dynamic field, and I enjoyed the challenge of finding the right talent for these roles while maintaining my reputation as a top recruiter.My career has taken me on quite the journey, from Minnesota to Texas, back to Minnesota, a detour to Las Vegas, and finally back to Texas. Along the way, I've gained a wealth of experience in HR, sales, and recruitment, and I've had the privilege of working with some fantastic companies and individuals.
