I research and write a local history blog about how the streets of Buffalo got their names. My blog has more than 7,000 followers and can be found at buffalostreets.com Over the past eight years, my work has been featured in segments and articles on various local media outlets such as Bee Group News, Buffalo Magazine, Winging It TV, On Target with Penny Wolfgang, Buffalo Rising, Broadway Fillmore Alive, What’s Going On In Buffalo, and other places. I give presentations to groups on various topics involving Buffalo history, development and architecture both through private bookings and through Erie County's University Express program..

Buffalo Place Inc. is the not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the economic health and quality of life in Downtown Buffalo. Our Planning Department works on a wide range of projects and initiatives designed to enhance the function, use and understanding of Downtown Buffalo. Planning projects are both short and long term, some involving extensive collaboration with other agencies working toward long-range goals. The Planning Department collects and maintains data to help make informed decisions about Downtown Buffalo.Current projects include:-400 & 500 Blocks New York Main Street Grant Management-Downtown Land Use/ Building Occupancy Study-Downtown On and Off Street Parking Studies-Downtown Employment Survey-Main Street History Signs

The Elmwood Village Association is a hub for community involvement that enhances the unique urban character of our community. Our commercial district is economically healthy, vibrant, walkable, clean, safe, and sustainable. Residents, businesses, and visitors experience a welcoming attitude and distinct sense of community.As Assistant Director, I served as liaison to the Design and Economic Development Committees, as well as worked on grant administration, events planning, and other tasks.

Effective 11.26.13, KHEOPS Architecture, Engineering and Survey DPC, a professional services firm and sister company of KHAFRA Engineering Consultants, Inc., acquired the assets of TVGA Consultants.

TVGA Consultants is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm, which provides a full array of services housed “under one roof." Public and private sector clients, including municipal, state and federal governments, developers, contractors, attorneys, and consultants have benefited from TVGA’s century of experience in project design and implementation.My work mainly focuses on brownfield sites, and I have worked on area plans for several New York State Brownfield Opportunity Areas for communities throughout Western New York. I also work on Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental Site Assessments and conduct environmental review for transportation and civil engineering projects. Additionally, I have worked on successful grant applications for various projects.

I created a county-wide inventory of brownfield and vacant industrial sites. My work involved the surveying of municipalities, research in federal and state databases, and site reconnaissance throughout all 20 municipalities in the County. The database I created has been a useful and important resource in the development and expansion of the County’s brownfield program.
