Responsibilities: Provide strategic direction and oversight for assigned scientific publications including white papers, position statements, editorials, clinical practice guidelines, and other outputs from SITC’s leadership and manuscript development groups. Develop and ensure adherence to society publication policies, protocols and best practices. Direct and oversee the SITC Cancer Immunotherapy Guidelines program for the development of immunotherapy-focused clinical practice guidelines. Includes working with Expert Panels for the development of new guidelines, monitoring the field and working with applicable leadership for updating published guidelines, and disseminating the guideline recommendations. Oversee all aspects of the society journal(s) including the contracted publisher relations, editorial board management, reviewer recruitment, and overall author experience. Develop marketing and promotion strategy for the department outputs, including determining appropriate outlets to bolster project visibility to target audiences and society stakeholders. Work closely with a senior peer group of directors in the overall management of the society.
