As a Senior Account Manager, I am responsible for providing insight and strategic direction for Well@Work onsite clinic clients that is focused on reducing health care costs, and improving population health. I am also accountable for day-to-day client management, as well as the implementation of new programs and initiatives.

As a Principal Account Manager, I served as the primary relationship manager and strategic lead for three key account clients. I partnered with them to deliver strategies and solutions that supported both their health plan needs as well as their wellness goals and initiatives. In this role I developed and executed business plans for retention, growth, and operational effectiveness. I took the lead role with renewal negotiations, as well as any new products or services. And most importantly, I directed a cross-functional team to ensure all service metrics met or exceeded my client’s expectations.

As a Principal Network Optimization Consultant, I played a key role in developing our network innovation strategies, and influencing the networks that we brought to commercial markets. My position had close ties to both product development and marketing, and I spent as much time as I could with our commercial sales team. As a consultant, I taught both internal and external customers how to leverage the power of provider contracting to control healthcare spending and shape the overall customer experience.

As a principal product consultant, I was accountable for retaining and growing our consumer-directed business. My primary focus was consulting with our health plan partners, brokers and large employers on HSA administration and implementation strategies. As a talented public speaker, I led SelectAccount's efforts in external product training and promotional events. Plus, I worked closely with our marketing team to be sure we have the right collateral and communication tools to support any consumer engagement strategy.

As a consumer directed business consultant, I worked both internally and externally on the sale of consumer-directed health plans. I worked collaboratively with our sales team to educate brokers, clients, and ultimately our members on the rules and regulations of these products. I consulted on plan design, and shared best practice strategies for implementation and communication. I did a lot of open enrollment presentations, and took every opportunity I could to educate and motivate our customers to be good consumers of health care.

As an account manager, I worked diligently with both agents and clients to establish credibility, cultivate relationships, and educate them on products and services available through Blue Cross. I worked hard to negotiate fair renewals both internally and externally to retain business, and took every opportunity I had to collaborate with subsidiary companies to both sell and retain ancillary products.

As an account specialist, I assisted two account managers in retaining and servicing large metro area accounts. I hosted enrollment meetings for new and existing business, and actively promoted Blue Cross and their initiatives for health and wellness.

In this role, I coordinated the renewals of existing accounts and set up new business in a timely and efficient manner. In addition, I researched and responded to complex service issues from sales representatives, group administrators, and customer service.
