I directed Executive Budget Officers' work and coordinated with the agencies we work alongside to provide high quality, non-partisan, information to the governor and his staff. That information is used to make well-informed decisions about what is included in the governor's budget. I also coordinated my team's contribution to the health and human services forecast. The statewide forecast is used to define the available resources the state has when setting its budget. I worked closely with legislative fiscal staff to resolve issues related to fiscal policy across branches of government, and coordinated my team's work in reviewing fiscal notes and providing bill summaries for the legislature more broadly. Finally, I problem-solved a variety of budget related issues with an eye toward prudent financial management of state resources. I am also a graduate of the Emerging Leaders program.
