As a "trailing spouse" I enjoyed the opportunity to work with professional service providers on the West Coast. I worked in L.A. with the law firm of Manatt Phelps as RFP project manager; consulted with a fantastic Physical Medicine in San Diego on patient services, patient diversification and building a corporate wellness practice; and the local chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel, who invited me into their community and introduced me to some fun projects working on in-house and outside counsel relationships.

Services offered include: Branding campaigns; strategic planning; retreat and event planning and management; individual business development coaching; marketing intelligence consulting; internal communications and practice management projects including quality improvement. Clients included Altman Weil, Williams Mullen, WakeMed, Carolina Back Institute, Akin Gump and more.

Directed all client and community relations on behalf of 50+ attorney firm. Managed marketing functions including a firmwide branding campaign including website remodel, PR plan, annual strategic BD plan, practice group plans, and annual marketing & BD budgets. Managed firm relationships with economic development associations and directed business development activities including community partnerships and industry networking. Worked on the firm’s merger committee charged with transitioning to Williams Mullen.

Washington D.C. Metro Area

Responsible for all marketing and client relations activities for the 65+ attorneys in the DC office of this international law firm. Managed major events surrounding two inaugurations, major sporting events and more. Directed RFP's for major international projects in over a dozen countries located in 4 different continents. Managed business development and marketing for three practices firm wide that were based out of DC including Intellectual Property, Government Relations, and White Collar Criminal and Government Investigations.

Greater New York City Area

Completed management training program, including courses in credit facility, marketing, customer service (including Dale Carnegie), and quality improvement (TQM certified facilitator). Held position at bank's hq in Chase Information Center and ultimately moved into bank's Personal Financial Services division growing into DC market. Worked on the bank's malcolm baldridge award committee 2 years.
