I manage the strategic advancement of a diverse, urban Catholic High School, seeking ways to engage alumni, individuals, foundations, and corporations to invest in opportunity for students from all socio-economic, ethnic, geographic, and religious backgrounds. In addition to securing mission critical operating support of over $1M annually plus endowment gifts and funding for special projects. I serve as the head of communications and marketing, managing all communications, social media and branding efforts, in addition to special projects and strategic initiatives.

Managed the strategic vision for development for Milwaukee Ballet Company, its school and outreach programs. I helped elevate the impact of the arts on our community, secured corporate sponsorships, major individual support, and investment in outreach programs. I managed a team of creative professionals who were excited and inspired to come to work each day and contribute to making Milwaukee more beautiful through dance. Raised approximately $2.5 million annually through corporate sponsorships, individual and major gifts, grants, and special events.

I began my tenure as a Public Affairs Associate, translating complex health issues and research into compelling reasons to care and invest. I was then promoted to Associate Development Director where I worked with scientists, physicians, business leaders and community activists to increase awareness of and philanthropic support for vision loss and scientific research and help advance the future of vision care and research. Secured major gifts and National grant funding for basic science research.

A college internship that became a full-time position. I was responsible for producing news releases, features, press kits, newsletters and web site copy for agency clients. Worked collaboratively with agency executives to develop and implement client strategies.
