I began my career in Pharmaceutical Research and Development in 2005 as an entry-level formulation scientist and have advanced throughout my tenure. The main focus of my previous work experience was on microencapsulation programs with a variety of compounds including small molecules, proteins and peptides, with different sustained release durations (48-hour, 1-month and 6-months) and different microencapsulation techniques (single emulsion, double emulsion and suspension). I have 3 years of Project Management experience on microencapsulation projects of varying stages from Feasibility and Scale-up as well as larger, more complex GLP/GMP Readiness studies. I also have familiarity with polymorphism of crystalline compounds. I have 10 years experience as a Formulation Scientist for oral liquids and suspensions. I am now a Project Manager for Innovation and Development of topical products.
