My career choices have been eclectic but have always centered around my skills and talent. I see the big picture and figure out what works and where there are opportunities for improvement. As a iD on the DiSC profile, I excel when I'm able to engage others, work on process and solutions, and create a vision for positive movement. In short, I'm forever seeking to develop relationships and achieve operational excellence.While working at Center of Hope with victims of domestic and sexual assault to find their path forward, I also consistently challenged our justice system to implement policies and strategies which would ensure victim safety and offender accountability. I took those 13 years of experience and used it to impact change on a state-wide level at the Tennessee Office of Criminal Justice Programs. This position provided me the opportunity to influence the state and national response to crime victim issues. From there I took a chance and decided to pursue a career in a new industry. I joined a Workforce Operations team at Optum and used my skills and talents to enhance the process and strategy around vendor engagement, requisition governance, and overall workforce support. That opportunity led me to York Solutions where I found a position which allowed me to maximize my expertise in process and strategy. When not working I prioritize community engagement and volunteering. I currently serve on the board of directors for On Mission Motorsports (OMM). OMM provides comradery & outlets for stress by promoting connectedness between veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders with the off-road racing community as a key strategy in the prevention of suicide and substance abuse.
