Implemented WEV's strategic plan initiatives by creating a successful revision and repackaging of WEV's basic curriculum, Self Employment Training (SET) for a new target audience, resulting in the design of the Business Plan Intensive course. Launched the Business Plan Intensive (BPI) 6 week business planning course designed for existing business owners who needed access to capital quickly and a business plan to qualify. Designed and launched comprehensive case management program, Thrive in Five that was developed to offer 2-5 years of service to business owners with consulting, webinars, access to capital, and networking to ensure stabilization growth and sustainability of small businesses. Managed Self Employment training in six regional locations with 125 volunteers annually, increasing the conversion rate of enrollment from 35% to 68%. Delivered more than 100 educational presentations, business workshops, and promotional outreach events with less than 10 to more than 300 participants. Led, organized, marketed, and promoted Think Big conferences (4 annually) with keynote speakers, moderated panel discussions, and business breakout sessions led by experts. Increased participation of business owners by 80% in the first year and increased fee income by 100%.Worked with WEV PR to design successful public relations strategies and advertising campaigns featuring WEV clients. Created a sales culture among program staff to communicate the value of WEV's training programs and doubled program fee income.Developed diversified revenue streams including corporation, foundation, government, and earned income; increased total revenue 25%. Worked with board of directors’ finance and fundraising committees.Supervised WEV's Small Business Loan Fund, a Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI) micro-loan fund. Grew lending from 12 loans annually to funding more than 40 loans annually.
