At the beginning of my career I worked at El Tiempo which is an outstanding leader company for printed publications. There my job was as an office assistant for the Editorial Department. My duties included upgrading the website and building a database related to the cultural events in the city. Later I started working as a cultural guide at the National Museum of Colombia. Then I joined the Educational Department of this institution. We had to prepare activities such as workshops, seminars and temporary exhibitions for different kinds of audiences.My third job which gave me relevant experience was as a guest curator for the Cultural Centre of Uniandinos (Universidad de los Andes). There I was freelance curator. We had to work closely with the manager and the gallery committee in order to produce exhibitions, talks, web-site projects, publications and associated activities. We also had to liase with artists, galleries, institutions and designers to ensure that exhibitions were delivered on time, on budget and to a high quality standard. To achieve these projects we had to negotiate bursaries, transport, packing and all the necessary documentation with the support of the committee, to provide equal opportunities and cultural diversity policies. Before moving to London I was working as university lecturer. The classes I taught were Photography, TV and New Media, I worked in two Universities for the Audio Visual department. The syllabi was designed by myself, keeping the guidelines and original concept of the department.Specialties: Curating Contemporary Art, Theory of Comunications and Post Modern Philosophy.
