Network Analyst - Cybersecurity
Current• Administer network security with Cisco and Palo Alto across the organization with services including AnyConnect, Global Protect, DNS Security, Threat Prevention, and WildFire.• Provide administration of web filter policies and monitor web traffic to meet staff and student safety standards according to network acceptable use policy and various compliance levels including FERPA, CIPA, COPPA.• Monitor and review firewall and IDS/IPS rules, Endpoint Detection and Response, SIEM, security logs, and alerts to ensure proper configuration and security implementation across the network. • Identify potential threats and respond to reported information security incidents with recommended corrective actions to ensure information security.• Provide solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities across the organization to ensure integrity and consistency of our network and applications to provide a proactive stance towards network security.• Direct and lead projects in the implementation of security measures to improve the security posture of the organization and meet corporate security policies including BCP, DRP, IRP.• Collaborate with incident response team and conduct data forensic investigations in the analysis of enterprise computer security incidents.• Implement phishing campaigns and security awareness training to increase user information security knowledge.• Provide information security training material and communication through development of articles, presentations and training programs.• Collaborate with vendors and auditors for Penetration Testing of internal and external resources as part of security assessment audits.• Develop, revise, and maintain company documentation and records pertaining to information security configurations, policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures including but not limited to: Incident Response Plan, Information Security Policy, Password Policy, Security Instructions, and Threats and Mitigation Strategies.
