Sondex Inc is an international company that manufactures Plate Heat Exchangers. I currently am the Finance Managers assistant and have been since October of 2006. I started in this company working a press on the production floor when the OPS manager informed me that the Finance Manager was looking for an assistant. At break that day I went in and asked her about the position and she gave me an interview on the spot. The next day I got the job! I have grown a passion for accounting and due to my eagerness to learn more in this field I am currently attending school to obtain my degree.Currently my accounting responsibilities include:Management of A/P - Receiving - Journal Entries - Payments - Account balancing - Aging reports- A/R- Bank book balancing- Yearend inventory organization/involvement Administrative Assistant responsibilities include:- Plan/organize production service trips- Plan/organize business meeting and Exposition events- Phone operations- Office machinery maintenance and set up- File management and organization- I also help assist the Sales Manager with organization and other random tasks asked of me which include gathering sales information from customer accounts and formatting spreadsheet documents base on the information in Microsoft word and excel.
