 I led a joint project of BEUC- The European Consumer Organisation, ANEC, the consumer voice in standardization and research institute Oeko Institut. Influenced the decisions of EU institutions on product policy. One of my key achievements: the EU renewing publicly its commitment to step up its efforts thanks to a research and communication campaign I coordinated on the net economic benefits of these policies for the average household Represented consumer interests in EU's expert group for the development of product design legislation and succeeded in introducing provisions in legislation for more sustainable products for consumers Developed public policy papers on sustainable product design and consumer information Formulated intelligence and advice to ANEC and BEUC regarding sustainable product policy Built alliances with policy-makers and other stakeholders active in the area of energy efficiency and sustainable consumption and production Supported the BEUC Sustainability Department in other areas related to sustainability such as the European Commission’s Multi-stakeholder Dialogue on Environmental Claims

 I was one of the 600 out of 25,000 applicants selected for this internship. From the Press Unit of the European Parliament I monitored and communicated to the public on the activities of the 'Industry, Research and Energy Committee' and the 'Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee'.

 I carried out market research on the use of nano-material in consumer products in the EU market  I developed a publication with actionable recommendations for policy makers

 Designed a project to assess how EU countries are complying with their obligation to develop waste management strategies.  I mobilised national environmental organisations to provide intelligence and share good and bad practices.  I developed a publication with the research outcomes and policy recommendations that were used by the EEB to influence the revision of EU waste policy.
