I am driven by a passion for biopharmaceutical development with a goal to enhance either bench top or large-scale pharmaceutical processes into a sustainable and health-focused system. As the first female engineer in my family, I know what it means to be a continuous learner and a dedicated leader, always willing to apply my skills to the task at hand while picking up new expertise along the way. Along with this is my willingness to collaborate with others to understand varying perspectives. As evidenced by my two research experiences at Columbia University, I've gained first-hand:- proficiency in technical writing and lab research- biotechnological principles and biological lab techniques- proficiency in process and experiment design- A critical/analytical thought process when approaching engineering problems- cross-functional collaboration skills among varying engineering disciplines/departments As a member of SWE and vice president of AiCHE, I thrive in team-based environments, constantly seeking to expand my engineering skills and contribute to society's well-being. At The Quadrangle, I proudly serve as Managing Editor, where I combine my interests in journalism while pursuing my engineering career.
