I work with Central Alabama Research as a CRC conducting various clinical trials in internal medicine, pediatrics, and oncology. Manages patient recruitment and retention along with patient study advertisement. Conducts data management with various clinical data management platforms like medidata RAVE EDC, S-Clinica, and Science 37.I work as an EMT-B with Regional Paramedical Services to provide Basic and Advanced Life Support to residents of Jefferson County. I Currently hold my AHA BLS CPR certification and NREMT Emergency Medical Technician - Basic and state licenses. I worked with the Center for Injury Science as a Researcher II performing clinical trials with various specialties of medicine to promote injury prevention and improve outcomes of injuries at all stages of care. Many trials are performed at the University of Alabama at Birminghams Hospital with the Department of Acute Care Surgery. Currently involved in multiple projects including patient recruitment, data collection and entry, and research operations troubleshooting. Trained Service Dogs with the United States Veterans Service Dogs to provide United States Veterans with a service dog that would serve as a valued companion to help with their various disabilities. I trained and raised two service dogs for this purpose during my time with USVSD.
