I began my KM career at the inception of the knowledge management initiative at Grant Thornton. Currently as a Knowledge Manager on the Innovation Team at Grant Thornton, my role functions in several capacities. I have direct involvement with Tax leadership as it relates to strategic initiatives, technology upgrades, design thinking, project management, relationship cultivation, business development and business impacts. The projects that I work on require creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, business insights and technological skills. Some aspects of my role include:• Understanding business strategy to create and deploy a tactical plan for identifying, capturing, and sharing key content to gain the greatest value and business impact• Monitoring KM metrics to understand the impact and to adjust strategy to improve outcomes• Driving the awareness and adoption of KM technologies (intranet, collaboration, social, etc.) including communication strategies and training materials/sessions• Identifying and developing new solutions to transform the way content is managed based on user needs• Identifying ways to enhance the UI/UX to optimize the effectiveness of the system and meet the business goals• Leading teams for content management and solution development• Teaming with other internal client services teams (Marketing, Business Development, Strategic Learning, Communications, etc.) to support firm strategic priorities

Executive administrative support to the regional Tax M&A practice as well as a member of the National Partnership Board. In addition to general administrative duties, I was responsible for creating, maintaining and managing content in lotus notes databases for information and content sharing. This included content management, knowledge gap identification, content curation and delivery. I also provided support for business operations and management of the practice and billing for services.

Managed the administrative tasks for the SALT National Managing Partner and National Coordinating Director including report generation, dissemination and client billings. Managed the knowledge assets and intranet website for a practice of approximately 150 SALT professionals including end-user GUI and service line cross training/exposure, content identification/processing and classification.Accomplishments:• Managed the most robust service-oriented community on the intranet• Recruited to provide training presentations on best practices and technology usage• Managed CPE certifications and forms for national service line trainings• Created a classification system to manage and search knowledge assests
