In this role, I oversee all financial planning, accounting, business development, and contract manufacturing changes for this startup company. I instituted a global ERP/CRM system for international transactions, appointed board members, and selected auditors.Some key achievements include:  Raising capital to launch manufacturing operations and expand resources. Driving revenue growth by creating a comprehensive business plan for private equity and venture capital firms to raise funds for strategic acquisitions.  Developing and implementing a global NetSuite ERP program over six months to handle all accounting and CRM issues in the US and EC.

During my tenure, I led a team of 22 across three continents while overseeing all global operations, including strategic planning, corporate governance, investor relations, business development, budgeting, and financial management. I managed a $55M in annual operating costs and drilling budgets with external contractors, established multicurrency reporting, and recruited respected industry board members. In addition, I installed servers and IT hardware for global operations and implemented an ERP system to handle accounting across three countries with different currencies to ensure compliance with Stock Exchange reporting requirements. Some selected accomplishments are:  Raising the company’s market value from $9M to $99M in less than five years by conducting market analysis and due diligence to forecast an oil market downturn and hedge oil prices by more than 50%. Maximizing cash flow by selling 90% of producing revenue for fair prices during the up market and used the profits to acquire producing assets at low prices at this time in the down market as it came. Driving revenue growth and improving corporate finances by purchasing undervalued properties. Increasing process efficiency and tax reporting accuracy by transitioning to a special oil and gas accounting and reporting system. Financing $75M in debt for an oil property acquisition that delivered ROI within three years.

Advised midsize UK companies about merger and acquisition deals and financial transactions exceeding $250 million. Screened potential investments, negotiating and closing deals for investor criteria. Reviewed and updated documents for private placements and initial public offerings.

Performed due diligence on potential investors. Screened hedge fund managers to identify and recruit participants in an overlay hedge fund of $100 million.
