I started my career in 1987 as a Technical Process Engineer at Leonardo spa (formerly FIAR spa).I have been part of the UR Group since its foundation, initially as Key Account Manager for Tier 1 customers such as Siemens, Ericsson, Alcatel and Cisco, dealing with high-end electronic components such as System on Chip, Optical and Magnetic devices.My good skills contributed to provide technical and commercial value to suppliers such as PMC Sierra, Vitesse Semiconductor, AMCC, PLX, Neophotonics, Ortel and Emcore, which provided cutting-edge communication technologies for fibre optics, FTTx, industrial networks and Wireless applications.These experiences were the foundation for implementing a radical change on my value proposition , products and market approach. Over the years, I have become increasingly specialised providing complete technological solutions at subsytem and system level to accounts in selected vertical markets, in particular , transport infrastructures both on land and in mobile vehicles. Since January 2005, I have been Director of the UR Group.
