My activities are concentrated in five main areas:CUSTOMERS: I ensure the store is always safe and secure environmental for visitors and co-workers. I'm proactive in using all the information and tools available, to ensure a omnichannel approach to steering the business in order to achieve growth and sustainable long term profitability with the customer in focus.COMMERCIAL: I work with the store team by supporting and challenging them to grow the business. Working proactively with local market data, understanding the range and commercial priorities, having full overview of the profit & lossPEOPLE: I'm seen by coworkers in all functions as an approachable, trustworthy and knowledgeable speaking partner leads by example. I actively lead and develop cooperation across all areas of the store, through working closely together, sharing knowledge, and showing understanding of each other's responsibilities in order to achieve our objectives. FINANCIAL: I partner with the Market manager in coordinating the management process. We work together to ensure the store is steered towards common IKEA objectives and executes the commercial direction in an efficient and effective way.OPERATIONS: I have the knowledge and ability to partner with the Market manager in achieving excellence in operations. As Business Navigator an Operational manager I'm responsible for the following areas and/or departments:Safety & Security, Property & Maintenance, ASR/Admin, rules & guidelines, Cash administration and Accounting, IT, Recovery.

I had the same role and responsibilities of my actual job in Parma. In addition, from March 2018 to October 2018 I took also the responsibility (at interim) of the Human Resources department, where my assignment for this period was: union relations, staff costs management, co-worker relations internal and external, planning the recruitment process for the following year, in terms of numbers of people and type of contract.

I were responsible to coordinate and plan the opening of new stores all over Italy, following logistic space planning and layouts and sales layout, adopting the most efficient solutions for the range management. I ensured recruitment of the key figures of the logistics department in collaboration with HR. At the same time, I was part of a international working group (Competence Network "Store dimensioning "), which aims is to analyze and define the logistical needs of stores, with a focus on future stores. I was also In Store Logistics internal auditor.

Milano, Italia

I coordinated the evolution of logistic parameters in relation to the assigned goals, making periodic visits in all the stores in Italy. I organized training for commercial team coworkers and managers. I had frequent contacts with the In Store Logistic function of other European countries and I attended training courses, international meetings, and projects with IKEA Group at global level.

Bologna, Emilia Romagna, Italia

With Store Management I managed the store's opening in September 1997, taking care of all stages of goods supply and organization of internal flows. I planned the layout of the warehouse by creating the most suitable picking paths based on product rotation, and I also collaborated with sales people giving input and optimizing sales space for self-service and warehouse range. I followed the installation of a new Goods Management System (SGF): we were pilot Store for IKEA Italy and later, given the positive outcome, I actively contribute to implement the same system in other stores in Italy. During this assignment, I also planned and managed the logistics part of the new IKEA store opening in Rome during the build up, still maintaining the role in Bologna store.

Campogalliano (Mo)

I started my work experience at San Geminiano Italia s.c.r.l. with as coworker in logistics office. San Geminiano Italia is a purchasing group located in Campogalliano (MO), consisting of about 200 beverage distributors operating throughout the country. Since 1989, I have been manager in logistics, managing all the stages of supplying the warehouse and directly with the suppliers I defined the terms of purchase: prices, offers, promotions and discounts. I managed contracts with carriers by fixing tariffs and payment terms, for deliveries to members of the group. I also carried out regular visits to the companies of the group, aimed at the logistics reorganization of their deposits. My position reported directly to the general manager.
