Experienced Clinician with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit, government, and social work industries. Skilled in crisis de-escalation, suicide/mental health assessment, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), HAZMAT response, and public policy. Community driven social worker with a Bachelor of Arts - BA focused in Psychology from California State University-Long Beach and a Master's of Social Work from The University of Oklahoma. I currently provide services to our community via a Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention Team. YMCI team members are dispatched to safety concerns within the community (ED, schools, homes, etc...) involving a safety or mental health crisis as screened by Crisis Connections and the YMCI Dispatcher. Team members de-escalate, safety plan, or problem solve next steps in order to stabilize a youth's safety or behavioral crisis.
