Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare designs and cost estimates that the commercial officers use to do bid for proposalsPrepare plans, designs, calculations with accordance with the codes and standards of the materials and equipment to be usedAnalyze a number of engineering design methods including structural, steel, timber, aluminium or concrete materials using both states and Allowable stress methodsHandle all aspects of formwork installation, concrete production and placing, curing and protectionAnalyzing simple structural members and designing the same with either steel, timber. Aluminium or concrete materials, using both limit states and allowable stress methodsAbility to sequence or cycle formwork/falsework economically, perform accessory takeoffs, and resolve forming problems as project progressesMust be able to present compelling and visually pleasing productions on varied building construction topicsPerform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction

Supervision, Planning and monitoring work progress and schedules and reportingReview drawing and engineering material submissionsRespond to contractors technical queriesImplement site quality assurance programs for roads and civil worksEnsuring senior staffs are kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and that the objective of the client are achievedContinual ensuring that practices, policies, strategy and services represent the client’s best interestKeeping with current legislation, standards and codes of practice to international levelAny other duties that may be assigned by Rhino Project Management (RPM)
