This internship focused on monitoring and evaluating the implementation of recommendations in construction projects, requiring on-site assistance to adjust legal, technical, and operational aspects based on practical feedback and to collect data for the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). It involved an in-depth analysis of economic models for circular projects, assessing costs, benefits, and environmental and social impacts to develop a balanced approach to monetization and revenue distribution. The intern supported the labeling process for circular projects, interacted with key partners (Dalkia, Serfim, Numtech and Excellence Industries), and modeled the relationships between investment costs, ecological maturity, and project value. The role also included following up on the LCA conducted by specialists and contributing to communication initiatives to promote sustainable practices in the construction sector. Collaboration with teams and partners was essential to the success of these initiatives.

This project, in collaboration with Tipee, focused on the optimization and energy renovation of buildings. The intern used Python and EnergyPlus to conduct tests on an energy simulation tool, modifying building characteristics such as insulation thickness, occupancy scenarios, and window types to identify cost-effective solutions for thermal comfort and energy consumption. A key aspect of the project was the development of a Python script to adjust building data within EnergyPlus input files, run simulations, record results, and refine variables iteratively.To achieve the project's objectives, mathematical optimization methods needed to be designed, digitalized, and integrated into Python functions. My primary role was to assist the optimization specialist in defining these methods and transforming them into code. This code was then applied to building data, allowing us to run simulations using Python and EnergyPlus, ultimately refining the energy renovation strategies.
