● Conducts daily inspections to evaluate facility conditions including cleanliness of office spaces and restrooms; determines immediate, short-term, and long-term building needs● Interacts extensively with United States Trade Representatives, United States Secret Service, White House Communication Administration, and National Security Council customers. Assess customer satisfaction through face-to-face interactions and telephone communications on a daily basis. Responds promptly to inquiries, concerns, and deficiencies. ● Coordinate date and times of delivery of products and services with White House Management and United States Secret Service to include verifying clearances of all workers (GSA employees and civilian contractors) entering the White House campus area with collaboration with the Secret Service, obtaining temporary passes for workers as appropriate.● Monitor all preventive maintenance performed by GSA in-house construction shop employees, ensuring compliance with PM schedules and facility request.● Manage all aspects of renovation, repair, and design projects with values from $20,000 to more than $1.5 million.● Evaluate request, develop an understanding of customer requirements, define scope of work, and prepare government estimates using specialized software and customer input regarding construction materials and finishes.● Develop detailed project schedules with proper sequencing of all activities, aligned with customer requirements and specifications● Affiliates with Contract Specialist on multiple maintenance projects. Provide project packages to Contracting Office for bidding by prospective vendors. Review bids and discuss vendor suitability with Contract Specialist, guiding decisions that will provide highest quality service to customers within cost parameters.
