CurrentLiquid Propulsion Design Department● SATELLITE PROPULSION: Chemical Propulsion Sub-System for Small-GEO and EDRS-C platforms (Customer: OHB)- Responsible for sub-system acceptance test campaign in Avio and in external test facilities (iABG Ottobrunn, OHB Bremen, Centre Spatial Guyanais)- Focal point towards Suppliers from qualification status review up to sub-system post-delivery to the Customer for main engine, thrusters, valves (check, pyrotechnic, pressure regulator, latch), pressure transducers, filters- Responsible for sub-system functional analyses (performance, pressure loss budget, passivation, transient) - Subsystem technical interface toward Customer ● VEGA 4th STAGE: Liquid Propulsion System (LPS)- Responsible for LPS acceptance tests at Centre Spatial Guyanais in Kourou for VEGA 5th and 6th flight campaigns- Responsible for performance predictions and telemetry data post-processing (pressures and performance) of VEGA 3rd and 4th flight- Avio technical interface for firing tests at EADS-ASTRIUM facilities in the frame of UCFIRE-LPS campaign- Technical specialist for performance predictions of UCFIRE firing model and for thrust chamber internal fluid-dynamics- Focal point towards Suppliers for valves (check, pyrotechnic, pressure regulator, fill and drain/vent), pressure transducers, filters- Technical specialist for subsystem evolution trade-off studies ● OTHER PROGRAMS:- LYRA: analyses of thrust chamber cooling and studies of pressure oscillation phenomena in the feeding line- FLPP (Future Launchers Preparatory Program): support to design and development of LOx-CH4 pre-burner demonstrators, both Ox and Fu-rich – Materials survey for turbine and injector plate; CFD analyses (simulation tool Fluent) for internal fluid-dynamics; Thermal analyses for dimensioning of injector plate, pre-burner and turbine assembly; Sizing and test of a swirl-coaxial injector
