CurrentManage all aspects of day to day operations of Data Center. Duties include responsibility for the Hardware team associates as well as the Hardware responsibility for the DC layout, design and implementation process (capacity planning, installation planning to maintain the equipment and infrastructure). Work directly with the facilities team to insure the coordination & development of the Data Centers' facilities master plan, which is in place to maintain the Data Centers' site classification (Tier rating) and insure 99.995% uptime. Make suggestions and recommendations to management regarding process improvement. Strong relationship with engineering groups and with vendors. Oversee the activities of functional areas within the data center. Initiate projects and/or operating plans as assigned, with a strong emphasis on immediate or short term deliverables while promoting and exercising cooperative working relationships with functional Engineering groups. Provide expertise in support of the Engineering groups for due diligence and management of the site. Available 24/7 for any issues or escalations that may arise and acts as a backup to the VP of Data Center Operations.
